The GRAMMY award winning Northwood High School Choral Department aims to develop self-sufficient musicians and life long lovers of music. Our five choral ensembles each perform five concerts throughout the year. NHS choirs frequently participate in national tours, perform in festivals, and receive master class instruction from trained music professionals. In addition to performing some of the most challenging and rewarding choral repertoire, our ensembles frequently perform large choral works such as Beethoven’s Mass in C Major, and the Mozart.
Our purpose at Northwood Chorus is to provide your students with a superior musical experience that will nurture their love of singing while helping them become the best musicians they can be. In order to give our students the highest quality education, we need greater financial support than what we are able to collect from concert ticket sales. To maintain our long lasting history of excellence in music education, NHS Chorus depends greatly on the financial support of our parents, friends, alumni, and outside organizations.
